ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to satisfactorily perform each essential function listed below.
• Design, develop, implement, and support highly complex BI applications of strategic or functional importance including: integration with data sources; highly automated data refresh processes; best-in-class data visualizations, dashboards, and reports that communicate critical insights to drive decision making
• Rich experience in understanding the Data warehouses/Data marts.
• Execute roadmap of business focused BI initiatives with a clear understanding of all deliverables and associated deadlines.
• Expert in designing, developing Power BI Dashboards
• Develop and maintain data management standards, and documentation of current data sources, raw data, data marts, transformations, and report specifications.
• Oversee data quality including validation, cleansing/scrubbing, ETL methods, etc.
• Participate in data integration, business intelligence (BI) and enterprise information management programs by rationalizing data processing to support reuse.
• Ensure best possible performance and quality in ETL packages, Stored Procedures and SQL.
• Performs additional duties and activities as required.

Minimum Knowledge and Skills required by the Job:

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or abilities required to perform the job.

• 7+ years' experience in data warehouse/BI intelligence understanding, development. Significant experience as BI/DW process flow on several BI/DW initiatives
• Data security at a macro and micro level (platform, row-level, encryption, etc.)
• Experience with Master Data Management, Data Governance, and/or Enterprise Information Management
• Knowledge of Azure tools and services centered around data and analytics (Data Lake, Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure SQL etc.) is a plus.
• Excellent understanding of Microsoft Power BI and other Microsoft BI platforms (SSRS, SSAS & SSIS)
• Expert in BI Report & Dashboard development
• Experience designing and building complete ETL processes moving and transforming data from ODS, Staging and Data Warehousing
• Experience with reporting and visualization tools (PowerBI & SSRS)

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree in computer science or related field required.
• 7 or more years' experience managing and designing systems in an enterprise infrastructure environment required.

Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations:

• Vendor certification (Azure cloud, AWS cloud, etc.) preferred.
