Primary Skills: Java-Expert, Restful API-Intermediate, Kubernetes/Docker-Intermediate, AWS/GCP-Basic, SQL-Intermediate Contract Type: W2 Duration: 6+ Months Location: Sunnyvale, CA - 94089 ( US Remote) Pay Range: $67.69 - $74.94 per hour Job Summary: We are seeking a Sr. Software BackEnd Engineer to join our agile team until the end of this year. The ideal candidate will focus on product feature development, perform tech stack upgrades, and lead cloud migration efforts. This role demands active involvement in build & deployment processes, resolving security issues, and enhancing customer satisfaction through technical excellence and innovation. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain Java-based applications on cloud platforms. Lead the migration of Java applications and core services while optimizing infrastructure. Integrate with existing DevOps and CI/CD pipelines/environments to streamline operations. Design scalable, secure, and reliable solutions that align with business requirements. Mentor junior engineers, ensuring the maintainability and quality of solutions. Must-Have Skills: Proficiency in Java and RESTful API development. Exposure to containerization with Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes. Experience with cloud services (AWS or GCP). Domain or Industry Experience: Prior experience with high-scale web applications and REST API services is preferred.
