We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Business Analyst with a strong background in the life insurance industry. This role involves leading and facilitating requirements meetings, writing detailed technical user stories, and ensuring successful delivery of system changes to support Fixed or Variable Annuities on the platform. Responsibilities
• Lead the business case development, outline scope, identify stakeholders, and document As-Is and To-Be flows with gap analysis.
• Elicit, analyze, and document clear and detailed business and technical requirements via user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Plan and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to validate that the delivered solution meets business needs.
• Provide input into business readiness plans, including communication, training, and production validation.
• Ensure timely identification, tracking, and resolution of issues.
• Maintain updated and accurate status tracking in the single source of truth. Skills
• 6-7 years of Business Analyst experience.
• Strong analytical and project management skills.
• In-depth knowledge of the financial services industry, particularly in long-term care.
• Excellent written, verbal, communication, and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience coordinating delivery and implementation across teams.
• Experience working with external vendors. Preferred Skills
• 8-10 years of Business Analyst experience.
• Strong leadership skills, with experience coaching other analysts.
• Six Sigma or Business Analyst training or certification (CBAP, BABOK) is a plus.
• Experience with the Agile framework (SAFe, Scrum, KanBan).
• Knowledge of Jira and/or Polarion for managing epics, user stories, tasks, and subtasks.
