Responsibilities: Deploy, manage, and optimize Azure IaaS & PaaS resources (VMs, VNETs, Load Balancers, App Services, etc.). Implement Azure networking solutions (VNET Peering, ExpressRoute, NSGs, VPNs, Application Gateways). Monitor cloud performance, cost optimization, and security using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Cost Management. Maintain and upgrade Windows Server (/2022) and Linux environments. Implement OS patching, security hardening, and compliance best practices. Automate server provisioning and configuration management. Manage and optimize NetApp clusters (provisioning, rebuilds, storage efficiency tuning). Administer VMware/vSphere/vCenter environments for virtualization stability. Conduct vulnerability remediation, patching, and security hardening across infrastructure. Implement Azure Security Center, Defender for Cloud, and SIEM (Microsoft Sentinel) for monitoring threats. Ensure compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, CIS benchmarks, and organizational security policies. Design and implement Azure Site Recovery (ASR) and backup strategies. Conduct DR planning, and failover testing, and ensure RTO/RPO objectives are met. Support SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and other cloud-based databases for optimal performance and integrity. Automate infrastructure deployment using Terraform, ARM Templates, and Ansible. Develop PowerShell, Bash, or Python scripts for automation and efficiency improvements. Implement Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) and CI/CD pipelines for cloud deployments. Preferred Qualifications: 7+ years of experience in cloud engineering and IT infrastructure, with a strong focus on Azure. Proficiency in Windows and Linux administration (OS upgrades, patching, automation). Expertise in NetApp storage solutions (cluster rebuilds, provisioning, optimization). Hands-on experience with VMware vSphere, vCenter, and ESXi for virtualization management. Strong knowledge of BCP/DR solutions, high-availability strategies, and failover mechanisms. Experience in cloud security, vulnerability remediation, and compliance frameworks. Solid understanding of Azure networking (VNETs, Load Balancers, VPNs, ExpressRoute, DNS). Database administration skills (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, cloud-native DBs). Scripting & automation experience (PowerShell, Bash, Python). Azure certifications (AZ-104, AZ-305, or similar) are preferred. Nice-to-Have: Experience in large-scale cloud migrations & hybrid cloud environments. Knowledge of containerization & Kubernetes (AKS, Docker, Helm). Hands-on expertise in Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, ARM, Ansible). Experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and automation frameworks.
