Pay Range: $41.88 - $70.36 per hour

Summary:
The Senior Archive Data Analyst is responsible for supporting the RUSH Enterprise Data Archival Program, ensuring that legacy system data is securely archived, accessible, and compliant with regulatory and RUSH retention policy. This role requires collaboration with Digital and Information Services teams, clinical, financial, and operational stakeholders to execute archive projects effectively. The analyst will be involved in all project activities including archive intake, technical execution, operational workflow review, and validation testing to maintain data integrity and usability within the organization's data ecosystem. Other information:
• Bachelor's in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline and (4-6 years) years of experience working with clinical or business systems. Six to eight years of experience in a clinical application setting will be considered in lieu of bachelors
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to analyze and implement processes to enhance customer experience or IS operations.
• Good foundation in basic computer skills; command of common office tools (e.g. Microsoft Office Suite, Visio, e-mail).
• General knowledge of Business Systems and clinical systems
• Healthcare experience is desired.
• Experience successfully delivering technology projects.
Responsibilities:
• Work in direct collaboration with several cross-functional leaders to support objectives.
• Provides leadership, coaching, and mentoring to staff. Able to make recommendations regarding the architecture of systems.
• Creates and provides quality review of technical specifications, testing plans, and general artifacts that describe the use of systems and modifications made to systems.
• Develops, analyzes, prioritizes, organizes requirement specifications, data mapping, diagrams, and flowcharts for developers and testers to follow. Provides quality review of these artifacts developed by colleagues
• Serve as the primary liaison between D&IS and Business Clients including clinical, revenue cycle, HR and other departments as part of archive needs.
• Conduct stakeholder interviews to gather requirements for each archive project.
• Define and document workflow processes for end users to determine requirements for data access and retrieval.
• Train end users and internal D & IS teams on archive system utilization.
• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for archival processes.
• Perform or assist with data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) from legacy applications into the archive solution.
• Ensure data mapping accuracy and adherence to retention and compliance policies.
• Work with Digital and Information Services data security teams to implement encryption and access control measures.
• Assistance with API integrations and contextual linking of archived records within EHR (Epic) and other pillar systems (Workday, ERP, etc.).
• Maintain system access and login credentials of end users.
• Develop a testing plan(s) to ensure accuracy, completeness, and accessibility of archived data.
• Conduct validation checks on extracted data against legacy system records.
• Perform user acceptance testing (UAT) with clinical, financial, and operational stakeholders.
• Coordinate with compliance and risk management teams to verify adherence to regulatory standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve data inconsistencies, missing records, and access issues
