Sr Apparel Designer

Responsibilities:

• Possess in-depth knowledge of all aspects of concept, design, and product development.
• Initiate and manage the design calendar while collaborating closely with Sales and Production teams.
• Apply trend forecasting by utilizing market intelligence and analyzing current sales trends.
• Present Color and Style CAD designs prior to each season launch.
• Develop designs that align with achievable cost targets for retail partners.
• Communicate daily with factories regarding fabric/trim sourcing, development tech packs, and necessary approvals.
• Oversee the sample process and ensure timelines are met for market deadlines.
• Review prototypes and attend fit sessions, working closely with technical design teams.
• Provide Sales with comprehensive product knowledge and trend insights.

Our Expectations:

• A minimum of 5 years of design experience in Women's Active/Athleisure wear.
• A collaborative team player who is open to direction and feedback.
• Exceptional time management, communication, and organizational skills.
• Adept at collaborating with overseas development and production teams.
• Strong knowledge of athletic fabrications, construction techniques, and fit principles.
• A problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in design software including Illustrator, Photoshop, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• This role requires on-site presence 5 days a week at our Walnut, CA location.
• An Associate or Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design is preferred.
