Sr API Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Engineer with proven experience in developing cloud-native API applications using Node.js, serverless, and AWS. Ideal candidate will also have hands-on experience in implementing IaC and CI/CD solutions and demonstrate solid understanding of security, networking and scaling concepts.

Required Skills & Experience

Self starter
Able to lead complex initiatives and design scalable solutions
TypeScript and Node.js experience
Experience building microservices and RESTful services
Experience developing cloud-native applications using AWS Lambda, ECS, API Gateway, SQS, Kafka, etc
Strong communication skills (written & verbal)
Willingness to learn and share knowledge

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

AWS Fargate, ECS, CloudWatch, S3, DataDog
Experience in large scale real-time stream / event processing systems
Prior experience working with a customer experience API and websites
Experience with modern front-end frameworks
Experience in ensuring the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
