LHH is partnering with a valued client in search of a
Senior Accounts Payable Analyst ( Accounting ) who brings both precision and a team-first mindset to the table. If you're someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and enjoys making an impact through your work-this could be your next great opportunity.
In this role, you'll be a vital member of the Accounting team, reporting to the Accounts Payable Supervisor. You'll process a high volume of invoices and expense reports, ensure timely and accurate payments, and foster strong vendor relationships. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, solution-focused, and eager to support team success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately process and audit vendor invoices and employee expense reports
- Match invoices to purchase orders and resolve exceptions in a timely manner
- Partner with internal teams to clear discrepancies and streamline approvals
- Provide mentorship and support to junior AP team members
- Respond to vendor inquiries and maintain positive relationships
- Assist with reconciliations and contribute to month-end close processes
What We're Looking For:
- Associate's or Bachelor's in Accounting preferred
- APS (Accredited Payables Specialist) certification is a plus
- 5+ years of Accounts Payable or related accounting experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Previous experience with Oracle or similar ERP system preferred
- Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a proactive mindset
- Strong aptitude when it comes to accounting process and assessments
Schedule + Compensation:
- Full-time Monday-Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Onsite a must , does not accommodate hybrid
- Hourly, Non-Exempt
