As a Sr Advanced Embedded Software Engr , within our (NGA) Next-Generation Avionics group, you will play a critical role in the design, architecture and deployment of cutting-edge Display Systems that enhance the situational awareness and decision-making capabilities of pilots, by delivering innovative features, implementing functionalities, enhancing the user experience and the overall advancement of technology.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop and implement advanced software solutions for Avionics Display systems, applications and services, ensuring high performance, reliability, and user-friendliness
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and define requirements, design software architectures, and implement software modules.
- Leverage your technical expertise in software engineering to drive innovation and deliver high-quality solutions for Anthem Display systems.

U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS
Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization
YOU MUST HAVE
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics
- Minimum 6+ years of experience in embedded software development
- Strong proficiency in C/C software development.
WE VALUE
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science/Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field.
- Understanding various software development life cycles, methodologies and tools.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C/C , Python, Open GL, etc
- Experience developing software in a Real-Time Operating System (RTOS)
- Experience in Embedded software development for aerospace, avionics, display technologies, or related industries.
- Experience with Avionics products is of value i.e. Displays & Graphics, Flight Mgmt, Flight Planning, Flight Controls, Flight Displays (PFD), Traffic Collision Avoidance (TCAS), Crew Alert Messaging (CAS), Terrain, Radios, etc
- Experience operating in an Agile framework desired
- Knowledge of software configuration management and change management practices.
- Can quickly analyze, incorporate, and apply new information and concepts.
- Ability to consistently make timely decisions even in the face of complexity, balancing systematic analysis with decisiveness.
