Job Description

The Sr Admin Support Spec for the School of Computer Science will perform administrative support-oriented job duties, that include but are not limited to resolving routine questions and problems, filing maintenance, scheduling appointments, reception, inventory management, typing, report preparation, and correspondence.

Job Duties:
  • Maintains confidential records.
  • Schedules appointments and ensures admin details are completed.
  • Helps with receptionist duties, refers calls, takes messages, initial contact for office, provides basic information.
  • Preparing and responding to correspondence for the office.
  • Supplies and inventory tracking/ordering.
  • Document and report preparation.
  • Copies and mail support.
  • Events and meeting support.
  • Travel arrangements.
  • Assist payroll coordinator by providing oversight.
  • Reviews and provides oversight for time sheets.
  • Routing, tracking, and follow up on various forms/approval processes.
  • Manage communication and membership issues for the School's Board of Advisors.
  • Perform related duties as assigned.
Job Requirements

Required Education: High School Diploma or GED.
  • 24 months office, clerical, or administrative experience.
Skills:
  • Knowledge of office procedures.
  • General office and customer service skills.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, and Word).
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as a team player
  • Ability to complete tasks in an efficient and timely manner.
  • Must be detail oriented for accuracy of data and information.
  • Ability to multitask, be organized, and self-motivated.
  • Ability to work in stressful situations.
  • Ability to communicate verbally and in writing.

  • None.
