Tatum consulting project needing a Sr. Acquisition Analyst for 3+ months in duration working with a Private Equity Company's Managing Partner putting together Deal Decks and Models. This consultant will be absorbing a large workload and will provide Margin Analysis, Competitive Analysis, M&A Spread and Deal sheets. This consulting project is working for a private equity firm and will be a key team member of the "deal team" providing analysis.
Project overview is as follows:
- Analyze and determine profitability of a deal of potential acquisition
- Present financials with accompanying analysis to executive team
- Analysis of companies in same/similar industry for acquisition or strategic partnership opportunities
- Leverage company's resources to further build out tools to measure company performance and identify opportunities to improve profitability
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must have Private Equity Acquisition Experience +5 years preferred
- Must have Advanced MS Excel
- Accounting, Finance or other Business related degree
- MBA preferred but not a must have
- Experience in public accounting, transaction services, advisory, investment banking or management consulting preferred by not a must have
- Successful experiences partnering with Sales and Operations to drive business forward
- Well rounded background in FP&A with understanding of Accounting and reporting responsibilities
- Communication skills are critical-have to be able to present to executive team and interact with field operations
- Good strategic/critical thinking background, need to be a problem solver and have examples
- Player/Coach-will need to be into the business as well as provide strategic vision for group
