Position Requirements:

• Master's degree in computer science - Preferred

• Understanding of Marketing Company & Data.

• Certifications and/or significant experience as a DBA.

• 3-5 years of experience as a SQL Server Database Administrator, preferably in a high-traffic web environment.

• Strong knowledge of SQL Server database administration, including installation, configuration, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.

• Experience working on 24x7 environments oriented towards a zero-downtime target.

• Experience with MongoDB administration, including installation, configuration, and maintenance.

• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.

• Familiarity with cloud database services (e.g., Azure SQL Database, Amazon RDS for SQL Server, MongoDB Atlas).

• Proficiency with SQL server SSRS reporting.

• Expert level knowledge of ETL process using SSIS and other toolsets.

• Expert in TSQL, Star Schema and Data Modelling.

• Proficiency with storage and capacity planning.

• Solid understanding of database backup and recovery strategies in cloud environments.

• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Core Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain SQL Server and MongoDB database systems, ensuring high performance, availability, and security in a clustered database environment.

• Deploy, configure, and manage SQL Server and MongoDB databases in cloud environments (e.g., Azure, AWS, Google Cloud).

• Monitor database performance and proactively tune and optimize SQL queries, MongoDB operations, and cloud database instances.

• Implement and maintain database backup and disaster recovery solutions in the cloud.

• Collaborate with developers, system administrators, and other stakeholders to gather and review requirements and create functional specifications.

• Ensure compliance with cloud security best practices and standards.

• Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues in cloud and on-premises environments.

• Create and maintain database documentation, including data models, schema designs, and system configurations.

• Stay current with industry trends and best practices in database administration, cloud technologies, and DevOps practices.

• Self-motivated, independent, detailed oriented team player.

• Performs on-call duties and system implementations and upgrades that may occur after normal business hours and weekends as required to minimize business impact.

• Performs a variety of tasks. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.
