- Providing developers with insights into the most resource-intensive queries and suggesting improvements.
- Designing indexes for existing applications and advising developers on efficient database designs.
- Conducting training sessions for application developers on SQL Server best practices.
- Serving as the go-to person for T-SQL queries and database-related questions.
Skills Required: - Minimum 10+ years of general database administration tasks.
- Minimum 7+ years of experience working as a SQL Server DBA.
- Experience with SQL Server 2014 - 2019.
- Proficiency in SSIS package creation and debugging.
- Expertise in stored procedure development and tuning.
- Exposure to data replication techniques.
- Experience in identifying and improving resource-intensive queries.
- Proficiency in designing indexes and optimizing existing applications for performance.
- Experience in designing efficient database structures, including tables and datatypes.
- Familiarity with advanced features such as clustering, encryption, replication, etc.
- Ability to advise on efficient database designs and implementations across data centers.
- Recent experience performing Level 3 support.
- On-call troubleshooting for SQL Server service outages.
- Ability to troubleshoot and improve query performance based on user complaints.
