Annapolis, MD based client, has an immediate opening for a
Mid- Level SQL Developer. In this role, you will be joining a team of developers creating, managing, and maintaining databases using SQL to ensure that data is organized efficiently, accessed accurately, and leveraged effectively to support business functions and inform decision-making.

100% onsite in Annapolis, and offers an on-site cafeteria, free parking, and a 35-hour workweek. Per our client contract, candidates must be
US Citizens. Responsibilities
- Manage system performance by conducting diagnostics, optimizing queries, implementing performance tuning techniques, and ensuring reliable data backups.
- Update and enhance existing databases and database management systems or oversee programmers responsible for making these modifications.
- Test applications and databases, resolve issues, fix bugs, and apply necessary updates or improvements.
- Design, coordinate, and enforce security protocols to protect data from accidental loss, unauthorized access, or malicious alterations.
- Establish and promote standards and best practices for software usage and procurement to safeguard sensitive information.
- Develop and maintain business intelligence tools, dashboards, and reports for data-driven insights
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on, daily experience working with MS SQL Developer
- Proficiency with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
- Extensive experience with MS SQL Server (version 2012 or newer), including designing advanced stored procedures and functions
- Deep knowledge of SQL Server development best practices and performance optimization
- Solid understanding of relational database architecture and design principles
- Per our client contract, candidates must be US Citizens
Compensation - W2 Hourly rate: $70 - $95. Pay rates are based on experience, qualifications, location, and certifications, and are subject to change at any time.
