Splunk / Linux Systems Engineer

We are actively hiring a SPLUNK / Linux Systems Engineer with TS/SCI clearance and polygraph to join our Engineering Solutions and Services Division in Annapolis Junction, MD. Provides support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of IT systems. Manages IT system infrastructure and any processes related to these systems. Provides support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, etc. Provides problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problems. Provides support for the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers. Provides support for the dispatch system and hardware problems and remains involved in the resolution process. Configures and manages Linux and Windows operating systems and installs/loads operating system software, troubleshoots, maintains integrity and configures network components along with implementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance. Will support Splunk, AWS, FTK, etc. Requires Fifteen (15) years of experience in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity within the Federal Government is required. Bachelor's Degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required or may substitute an additional 5 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree. = Pay Range: There are many factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
