Job Summary: Responsible for providing speech, language, and dysphagia services to patients, including evaluations, care planning, and treatment.
Essential Functions: Conduct patient evaluations, administer treatments, design care plans, provide reports to physicians, complete documentation, participate in education programs, and stay updated on trends in the field. Minimum Qualifications: Master s degree in Speech and Language Pathology, Clinical Fellow status or Certificate of Clinical Competence, and Michigan licensure eligibility. BLS certification required within 90 days of hire. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Experience with diverse age groups and ventilator-dependent patients preferred. Strong communication, organizational skills, and ability to work in an interdisciplinary team are essential. Working Conditions: Exposure to infectious diseases and radiation; may work in unpredictable home environments. Physical Requirements: Frequent standing, walking, and lifting; ability to handle various physical demands.
