Our facility in Carlisle provides an inviting, home-like environment conveniently located near I-75 and within close vicinity to Dayton, Germantown, Franklin, Springboro, and Middletown. This 48-bed facility has a quaint, family atmosphere with the support of our surrounding neighborhoods. The therapy staff and interdisciplinary team strive to create a comprehensive care plan that is unique to each short-term, outpatient, or long-term patient. The therapy gym is spacious and equipped with all the tools that a therapist needs to provide the most effective treatment interventions.

Responsibilities:

- Conduct assessments to evaluate patients' physical, mental, and emotional conditions.

- Develop customized treatment plans tailored to each patient's specific needs and goals.

- Provide therapeutic interventions to improve patients swallowing and cognitive deficits

- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.

- Utilize medical imaging and physiology knowledge to enhance treatment outcomes.

- Educate patients and their families on compensatory strategies and safety techniques for high level of function

- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Speech Therapy from an accredited program.

- Active state licensure as a Speech Therapist.

- Proficiency in medical terminology and patient service best practices.

- Strong background in critical care settings and familiarity with speech therapy concepts.

- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
