Onward Searchis a specialized education staffing and talent solutions organization that helps educators, therapists, and school health professionals connect with meaningful new opportunities with the nation's top schools.We are currently seeking a dedicated and caringSpeech-Language Pathologist (SLP)to join a collaborative school team inWill County, ILfor the school year to provide speech and language therapies for students of all ages.


Position Details:

  • Location:In-person (no hybrid or remote options available)
  • Schedule:Monday-Friday, 40 hours/week
  • Grade Levels:Various, K-12
  • Caseload:TBD
  • Start Date:August 11th, 2025
  • End Date:May 22, 2026

Role Responsibilities:

  • Provide therapy services to support students' speech, language, and communication needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine students' needs and track progress.
  • Document and maintain accurate records of student progress and interventions.
  • Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; CFY candidates may be considered.
  • Speech Language Pathology License in the state of Illinois.
  • Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL).
  • Previous school-based or pediatric experience is a plus.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
