Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication disorders in patients of all ages, with a particular focus on pediatrics. This role requires a strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology to effectively develop individualized treatment plans that promote patient care and early intervention.
Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate speech and language abilities in patients.
Develop and implement tailored therapy programs to address individual patient needs.
Collaborate with families, educators, and other healthcare professionals to support patient progress.
Provide guidance and education to patients and their families regarding speech therapy techniques and strategies.
Maintain accurate records of patient assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes.
Stay updated on the latest research and best practices in speech therapy to enhance service delivery.
Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care strategies.
Experience
A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program is required.
Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech Language Pathologist is essential.
Experience working with pediatric populations is preferred, particularly in school settings or early intervention programs.
Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to speech-language pathology is necessary.
Familiarity with patient assessment techniques and evidence-based practices in speech therapy is highly desirable.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for effective interaction with patients, families, and colleagues.

Pay: $51.16 - $55.33 per hour
