Position Details:

  • Role: Contract Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Location: Schools in Westchester, NY
  • School Year: , with the option to renew
  • Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday, during regular school hours
  • Caseload: Work with Pre-K and elementary students diagnosed with autism

What You'll Do:

  • Assess & Diagnose: Evaluate children's communication disorders related to autism and provide individualized therapy.
  • Create Impactful Treatment Plans: Develop tailored treatment plans to help each child achieve their communication and language goals.
  • Collaborate with Educators & Families: Work alongside teachers, parents, and other professionals to promote positive communication strategies in the classroom.
  • Track Progress: Monitor and adjust therapy plans based on student progress to ensure continued improvement in speech, language, and social communication.
  • IEP Participation: Contribute to the development and progress of students' IEPs in a supportive, inclusive setting.

Who We're Looking For:

  • Prior experience working with children with autism is preferred
  • School-based or pediatric experience is a plus
  • NY Speech-Language Pathology Licensure (or eligibility)
  • ASHA Certification (preferred)
