Just Kids is a group of specialized preschools in Suffolk and Nassau County, serving children with a wide range of disabilities from three to five years of age. We work as an interdisciplinary team with occupational therapists, speech therapists, psychologist, nursing, vision therapy, and special education teachers.

We are currently seeking a Full Time Speech Language Pathologist for our Baldwin site.

Requirements:

Must possess a Master's Degree (M.A. or M.S.) in Speech/Language Pathology or Communication Sciences from an accredited college or university.
Must hold a valid Certification as a Teacher of Speech and Hearing Handicapped or equivalent from NYS Education Department (Division of Teacher Certification).
License and current registration from the NYS Education Department (Division of Professional Licensing) to practice in the State of NY as a Speech Pathologist.

General Duties:
Perform individual and group speech - language therapy sessions as stated on each child's IEP. Become a member of a dynamic group of speech therapists who work collaboratively with teachers, occupational therapists, physical therapists, psychologists, and social workers. Paperwork to include daily log notes, tracking of progress, quarterlies on IEP Direct and annuals.

Salary will be commensurate with experience
