We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Speech and Language Therapist to join our team in Liverpool. The successful candidate will play a vital role in assessing, diagnosing, and managing communication and/or swallowing difficulties in a diverse caseload of clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, families, and other professionals.

  • Provide direct therapy services in clinic, community, school, or home settings.

  • Monitor and evaluate client progress and adjust interventions as necessary.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records and reports.

  • Liaise effectively with other healthcare professionals, educators, and support services.

  • Contribute to the development and delivery of training and support to families, carers, and staff as needed.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Speech and Language Therapy.

  • Current registration with the HCPC (Health and Care Professions Council).

  • Previous experience working with children / adults / specific client group .

  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.

  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

  • A valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (if community visits are required).

Desirable:

  • NHS or UK-based experience.

  • Experience with specific interventions or communication systems (e.g., PECS, Makaton, AAC).

  • Membership with the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT).
