SUMMARY DESCRIPTION:

Provide analytical and technical support for internal teams throughout the organization, by creating and maintaining all item level data within the ERP system. This position is an excellent opportunity to establish a fundamental understanding of cost accounting, cost analysis and related systems infrastructure for a manufacturing business.


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collaborate with various internal departments including but not limited to pricing, engineering, customer service, operations, procurement, and plant controllers in order to facilitate standard costing as well as maintain pricing integrity.
  • Process manufacturing facility requests to create new supply and inventory items along with maintaining existing item attributes in master data lists.
  • Individual will need to accurately document data and follow established process procedures with a general understanding of where to locate all information necessary to complete the process.
  • Routinely audit the system for similar existing items to ensure consistency among close comparatives.
  • Develops and manages processes to ensure that all required system data is maintained with a high degree of integrity. Constantly seeks ways to improve all related processes to enhance quality and efficiency.
  • Demonstrate curiosity, continuous exploration, and improvement with the ability to adapt to the needs of the business.
  • Participate in additional projects as assigned by the Financial Planning & Analysis Manager during the monthly forecasts, annual budget process, and month-end/year-end cycles.

EDUCATION:

Required: Bachelor's degree preferably Accounting, Supply Chain, Finance, or 2-4 years in related business field.


EXPERIENCE:

Required: 1-3 years' experience in supply chain/finance role. Strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills.


SKILLS:

Required: Data entry/accuracy, Strong Excel skills, strong written and verbal commination, and ability to work independently while focusing on time management.

Preferred: ERP (Oracle), BI Tool (Tableau), Microsoft (D365).
