About the job:
We are seeking a Registered Dietitian to join our sales team. As a Specialty Sales Executive, you are responsible for identifying decision makers and key influencers within hospital networks, long-term care facilities and other strategic growth targets. Stakeholders within these settings could include, but not limited to, C-Level Executives, CNM's, RD's, DON's, supply chain, procurement, medical distribution and food distribution partners. You'll succeed in making these connections by conducting face-to-face visits, phone calls, emails, and social media interactions. You can also expect to attend tradeshows to participate as an exhibitor. (Roughly 8-10 events per year)
Expectations:
The Specialty Sales Representative (nutritional supplements) will be mostly territory based with travel as required to execute the following:
- Consistently meet or exceed revenue goals.
- Meet or surpass all daily sales activity requirements (In person visits, phone calls, email, in mail)
- Record all activities and sales opportunities in CRM software (pipeline management)
- Control sample disbursement by effective probing and consultation
- Deliver product presentations to customers in a one-one-one or group setting
- Drive brand awareness through social media networking
- Openly communicate and collaborate with sales and marketing team
- Performs other related duties and responsibilities, as assigned
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree preferred, not required
Combination of sales and nutrition expertise (RD preferred)
1-3 Years of clinical experience preferrable in a hospital or senior care facility
Confident working with CRM software and other sales tools
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong understanding of social media and internet marketing
Bi-Lingual English/Spanish a plus
