GENERAL DESCRIPTION: Store Communications and Operations specialist is responsible for managing and monitoring the efficiency, performance, and quality of all store initiatives, ensuring that each one flows seamlessly across various store activities. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including operations, marketing, sales, and training departments, to ensure operational excellence. This person is responsible for conducting quality assurance on package rollouts, deployment decks, training materials, spiff and contest management, and store bulletins, ensuring that all store initiatives meet company standards and performance expectations.
In addition to managing store deployments, the role involves testing new packages in the POS system to ensure accurate sales categorization and leveraging tools such as Microsoft BI and Excel to validate reported sales numbers and forecast results for future initiatives. This role is responsible for continuous assessment and refining operational workflows, recommending and implementing process improvements to optimize efficiency across store activities.
The role also is responsible for ensuring store team members are well-prepared for executing initiatives successfully and providing leadership with performance updates and progress reports. In addition, the position plays a key role in resolving operational challenges by identifying root causes and collaborating on effective solutions, while ensuring compliance with company policies and industry standards. Through store inspections, documentation, and consistent follow-up, this role ensures that store operations are optimized and aligned with organizational goals.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Store Communications - Review and assess store deployment drafts from all departments to ensure alignment with operational priorities and timely execution.
- Create and develop deployment drafts for operations-based initiatives, ensuring they are tailored for store implementation.
- Partner with department leads to finalizing deployment plans, ensuring they are fully prepared and optimized before communication with stores.
- Track and follow up on all deployments to guarantee successful completion and adoption by all stores.
- Develop, execute, and track monthly store promotions and contest plans to drive engagement and performance.
- Foster interdepartmental communication regarding deployment plans to ensure all teams are aligned and prepared for upcoming initiatives.
- Monitor the performance of store initiatives post-deployment, gathering feedback to suggest improvements and ensure successful execution.
- Coordinating with department leads to ensure clear communication and compliance across all store operations and initiatives.
- Manage training, resources, and inventory for store communications, ensuring all locations have the materials and knowledge needed for successful deployment.
Operations Support - Develop and maintain documentation, process manuals, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for Store Operations, identifying opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies.
- Partner with cross-functional departments to support various company initiatives/priorities to include program development and vendor and program management (e.g., digital appointments, etc.).
- Create and manage store surveys to support operational initiatives, while monitoring regional manager QSVs(Quarterly Store visits) to ensure timely follow-up on action items.
- Prepare and provide weekly update reports to Store Operations, Marketing, Sales, Loss Prevention, and Training, while assisting in managing tasks for New Store Project Teams, including due dates, status updates, and follow-ups.
- Collaborate with IT and Store Operations to troubleshoot system-related issues, develop and implement training materials for store teams, and conduct periodic audits or field visits to ensure compliance with operational standards and best practices.
- Analyze sales and performance data to provide actionable insights and maintain a centralized repository of store communications, SOPs, and training materials for easy access and reference.
Additional Responsibilities: - Conduct regular field and store inspections to identify and resolve deployment-related issues.
- Perform additional duties assigned to support operational needs.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: - Strong understanding of retail store operations, including back shop and front showroom functions.
- Familiarity with retail marketing and promotional strategies to ensure alignment with store communications.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, PowerApps) with the ability to learn and navigate IT systems used in retail stores and corporate operations.
- Willingness and ability to travel as needed.
EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE: - Bachelor's degree preferably with a Major in Business Administration, Operations Administration, Marketing, Communication, or related field of study or an equivalent qualified experience in lieu of a bachelor's degree.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in Stores/Marketing/Data Analysis/ Operations.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: - This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers and filing cabinets.
