The Ignition SCADA Engineer job will develop, integrate, and optimize industrial automation systems. In this role, you'll work closely with clients and internal teams to deliver scalable, high-performance solutions using Inductive Automation's Ignition platform. Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and implement Ignition-based SCADA systems tailored to client needs.
  • Integrate SCADA with PLCs, databases, and industrial networks to ensure seamless operation.
  • Develop user-friendly HMI interfaces and dashboards for real-time monitoring and control.
  • Perform system testing, troubleshooting, and optimization to ensure high performance and reliability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, IT, and engineering, to develop scalable automation solutions.
  • Ensure cybersecurity best practices and compliance with industry standards in SCADA implementations.
  • Provide technical support, training, and documentation for end-users and stakeholders.
What You Bring to the Team:
  • Experience with Inductive Automation's Ignition platform, including Perspective, Vision, and SQL integrations.
  • Strong understanding of industrial automation protocols (OPC-UA, MQTT, Modbus, etc.).
  • Background in controls engineering, industrial automation, or SCADA development.
  • Experience working with PLCs, industrial networks, and databases (SQL, PostgreSQL, etc.).
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a passion for continuous improvement.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for on-site implementation and support.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Ignition Certification (Core/Gold) is a plus.
  • Experience with Python scripting, JavaScript, or other relevant programming languages.
