We have multiple openings available for compassionate and dedicated Special Education Teachers in Cook County, IL for this school year.
In this role, you will be responsible for supporting students with diverse learning needs in elementary and middle school settings. You will provide individualized instruction and support to these students to foster academic, social, and emotional growth while collaborating with general education teachers, support staff, and families to ensure a cohesive approach to student learning. Location: In-person (no hybrid or remote options)
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-3:00pm
Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week
Caseload: 15-20 students
Grade Level: Elementary & Middle School, K-8
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Special Education, or related field.
- Illinois state teaching certification in Special Education.
- Professional Educator License (PEL)
