We are urgently hiring a Special Education (RSP) Teacher to join our team at one of our schools in the Huntington Park, CA area. In this role, you will collaborate with general education teachers in inclusive classrooms to support students with diverse learning needs. This position offers a meaningful opportunity to positively impact students' educational experiences while serving as a vital resource for both students and educators.
Pay Rate: $64,480.94 - $95,000.00 Annually
Location: Huntington Park, CA
Schedule: Full Time (Monday - Friday)

Qualifications:
- Required: Bachelor's Degree (Master's Preferred)
- Required:California Clear/Preliminary Resource Specialist Teaching Credential in Mild/Moderate or Moderate/Severe
- Preferably Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Confident computer technology skills
- Experience working in an IB world school
- Recent and relevant professional development in teaching and learning
- Experience and/or knowledge of backward planning to develop learning units
- Proven ability to work in an urban school environment
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) to support students' unique learning needs.
- Provide special education services as outlined in students' IEPs, ensuring compliance with goals and objectives.
- Assess and evaluate students to determine their specific educational requirements.
- Document special education support in the special education information system and report progress on IEP goals.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and parents to create an inclusive learning environment.
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing input on student progress and necessary accommodations.
- Coordinate and schedule services to ensure students receive the appropriate support.
- Maintain compliance with special education regulations and due process requirements.
