As a Spanish-speaking Customer Service Representative, you will play a vital role in providing outstanding support to our wholesale and retail customers. Your responsibilities will include understanding customer needs, answering inquiries about Sherwin-Williams products, and recommending suitable solutions. You will interact with customers, which may include minors, and you will have access to cash and other payment methods, as well as store merchandise. Therefore, a review of criminal history is necessary to ensure the safety of our customers, staff, and the community.

The selected individual may be expected to work at stores within a 50-mile radius of 193 Troy-Schenectady Road, Latham NY 12110.

Essential Responsibilities:
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through exceptional sales service.
  • Assist customers both in-person and by phone, determining needs and presenting appropriate products.
  • Build productive relationships with customers.
  • Accurately process sales transactions according to company policies.
  • Aim to achieve monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales goals.
  • Maintain organized work order files and formulas.
  • Retrieve products from the sales floor or warehouse.
  • Tint and mix products to meet customer specifications.
  • Restock shelves and set up displays while maintaining cleanliness of store equipment.
  • Load and unload delivery trucks and assist with deliveries as needed.
  • Ensure assigned areas are well-stocked and presentable.
  • Stay informed about products and discuss options with customers.
  • Comply with inventory control procedures and suggest improvements for sales.
Minimum Requirements:
  • Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
  • Must be legally authorized to work without requiring sponsorship.
  • Fluency in both English and Spanish is required.
  • Must possess a valid, unrestricted Driver's License.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 70 lbs occasionally.
  • Availability to work scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • At least one (1) year of experience in customer service, retail, or delivery.
  • Experience in selling paint and related products.
  • Familiarity with tinting and mixing equipment.
