Position Description
Chaffey College is seeking applicants for the adjunct pool in Spanish. All applicants are expected to meet the California State Community College Minimum Qualifications for Spanish instructors. Meeting the minimum qualifications does not guarantee employment or an interview.
Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSPossession of a Master's degree in Spanish; ORPossession of a Bachelor's in Spanish AND Master's in another language or linguistics; ORPossession of a valid California Community College credential authorizing service as an instructor of Spanish; ORThe equivalent; ANDDemonstrated evidence of sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, gender identity, sexual orientation, and ethnic backgrounds in a community college environment.MEETING MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS DOES NOT ASSURE THE CANDIDATE OF AN INTERVIEW. Applications will be evaluated taking into account the breadth and depth of relevant education, experience, skills, knowledge and abilities.
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS- Candidates with experience teaching online or hybrid classes through Canvas are preferred.
