Position Summary:
Florida Atlantic University is seeking a Space Utilization Student Assistant - Boca Raton, FL.
Summary of Responsibilities:
- Assist Project Managers with updates to current AutoCAD drawings.
- Support building surveys and update Space Management software and floor plans accordingly.
- Assist with taking pictures and creating mock-ups for signage as needed.
- Collaborate with Project Managers from early schematic design through construction delivery of architectural projects.
- Support the Coordinator for Space Utilization and Analysis with building surveys and updates to Space Management software and floor plans.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Assistant Director, Space Utilization and Analysis.

Minimum Qualifications:
FAU degree-seeking undergraduate student with a minimum of six credit hours (or twelve if international) and a 2.0 GPA.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Illustrator and Photoshop is essential.
Must be willing to learn new computer applications related to space management.
Effective and professional verbal and written communication skills are crucial.
Preferred Qualifications/Skills:
Student in Architecture, Civil Engineering or a related specialty with advanced computer skills.
Students with a 2.5 GPA.
Salary:
$15.50 per hour.
