As Nail Technician, you're responsible for maintaining the highest spa standards in all that you do. Appointments will occur at reserved times with no delay. You'll maintain the cleanliness of the nail stations in a professional manner and follow all established protocols and checklists to enhance the guest experience and overall spa operation.
Additionally, you will:
- Demonstrate full knowledge of the spa's manicure and pedicure treatments and the products used, their benefits, and ingredients and be able to communicate these to guests.
- Provide excellent nail services to all spa guests.
- Follow all established treatment protocols for the proper and consistent execution and do so within specified time lines.
- Assist guests with retail product selections and educate them on correct usage.
- Meet and exceed retail goals.
- Assist in other areas of spa as needed including reception and retail areas.
- Demonstrate manicure and pedicure treatments and assist with training hotel personnel.
- Assist in inventory control.
- Be available for on-call appointments within a minimum of eight hours notice. Arrive 15 minutes before shift to set up room for first appointment.
- Work varying shifts based on business needs, including holidays and weekends.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements: - A current, valid state cosmetology/nail technician license recognized by the governing board of Michigan.
- Cosmetology/nail technician training at a recognized cosmetology/nail technician school.
- At least one year experience in an upscale spa operation.
- Ability to remain calm and organized in busy environment.
- Physically able to stand, bend, lean, and walk for up to 10 hours. Ability to lift and carry up to 20 pounds.
- CPR certification required.
