Job Description: Staffing Office & Systems Administrator
About the Job: The Staffing Office and Systems Administrator, part of the Patient Care Services team, serves as the primary administrator for the automated staffing and scheduling system. This role requires close collaboration with the House Support Manager to oversee staffing services. Additionally, the administrator acts as the main contact for position management, working with various departments such as human resources, administration, unit managers, and finance, while also supporting the nursing leadership team in staffing operations.
What You'll Do: - Oversee staffing system applications such as ANSOS and web scheduler, managing position control, vacancy reports, and personnel requests for new hires, transfers, and terminations.
- Keep licensure and certification records current in the relevant database and ensure credentialing information is updated in ANSOS.
- Coordinate the use of temporary agency staff, handling invoicing and payments, while acting as a liaison to staffing management companies.
- Collaborate with the House Support Manager to manage float pools for house support staff and maintain confidentiality of departmental and personnel information.
- Serve as the System Administrator for ANSOS and the Web Scheduler Module, generating staffing system reports to enhance patient care services and overseeing the NDNQI program.
- Work with vendors for training and testing on system upgrades and partner with leadership to effectively manage float pools and throughput operations, adhering to best practices in information system management and following directives from ITS leadership.
Who You Are: - High School diploma or equivalent required. Associate degree preferred.
- Experience in an administrative support role for clinical operation and staff scheduling preferred.
- Demonstrated knowledge of system policies, processes, and applications.
- Knowledge of Kronos, ANSOS, EPIC, database management, and/or Shiftwizard preferred.
- A minimum of five (5) years of administrative, program management or system administration experience, of which a minimum of two (2) years was in a healthcare setting required.
- Scheduling experience required
