Volt is immediately hiring a Buyer/Planner in Hawthorne, CA.

This is a great opportunity to work for an aerospace manufacturer that is making news.

As a Buyer you will:

Issue purchase orders quickly and without error

Ensure purchase orders are acknowledged by suppliers

Process improvement experience is a plus

Obtain the original promise date from suppliers

Review open order report and manage deliveries

This is a full time, contingent to hire opportunity.

The ideal candidate will have experience in the following areas:

Bachelor's degree

Purchasing, sourcing, and planning experience

Remarkable problem-solving skills with a bias for speed

Strong technical knowledge of MS Office Suite

Ability to conduct all activities with the highest degree of integrity

Detail-oriented, self-motivated and able to respond quickly to a fast-moving and ever-changing environment

Pay Rate: $25/hour- $27/hour

Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
