Job Description
- Lead end-to-end sourcing projects from business need to contract award, delivering significant commercial value on high-value, medium-risk opportunities.
- Implement and manage category sourcing strategies in collaboration with stakeholders to achieve and exceed defined savings targets.
- Ensure full compliance with procurement regulations, governance, and risk controls, including OJEU requirements where applicable.
- Negotiate complex contracts to secure sourcing-driven savings, working closely with finance and business teams to realise budgeted benefits.
- Drive innovation through sourcing-led solutions that address business challenges and support continuous improvement.
- Support seamless supplier transitions post-contract and contribute to long-term supplier relationships and performance management.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Interim Sourcing Manager should have:
- Deep level of Sourcing experience, with a demonstrable track record of savings delivery
- Demonstrable level of negotiation and dispute resolution skill set
- Demonstrable experience of driving value from complex sourcing opportunities
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Strong negotiation and relationship management skills
- Proficiency in relevant software and tools
