Job Summary:
The Sourcing Manager for Factory Indirect is responsible for leading the strategic sourcing and procurement of indirect categories such as Capital Equipment, Facility Services, and MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Operations). This role involves developing sourcing strategies, managing supplier relationships, and achieving cost savings while ensuring quality and compliance. Key Responsibilities:
• Strategic Sourcing:
Develop and implement sourcing strategies for factory indirect categories. Conduct market analysis and identify suppliers.
• Supplier Management:
Establish strong relationships with key suppliers. Negotiate contracts and monitor supplier performance.
• Cost Savings:
Identify opportunities for cost reduction through negotiations and process improvements.
• Category Management:
Manage the end-to-end procurement process within assigned categories. Develop and execute category plans.
• Stakeholder Collaboration:
Partner with Operations, Engineering, Maintenance, Finance, and other departments to align procurement strategies with business needs.
• Risk Management:
Perform risk assessments and ensure compliance with internal policies and industry regulations.
• Performance Management:
Track and report on sourcing KPIs. Use data analysis to drive continuous improvement.
• Process Improvement:
Streamline procurement processes using technology and proven methodologies. Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field; MBA or Master's preferred.
• Minimum of 7 years of sourcing/procurement experience, including leading projects and teams.
• Strong negotiation, contract management, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in procurement and ERP systems; strong Microsoft Office skills.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to convert data into actionable insights.
• Preferred certifications: CPSM, CSCP, or similar.
• Experience with Lean or Six Sigma methodologies is a plus. Work Environment & Culture:
