Posting Specifics
  • Pay Range: $37.46 - $57.80 hourly (DOE) + $10/hr float differential

  • Hours: Full Time (36 hours)
  • Additional Details: Shift differentials given for evenings, nights and weekends
System Float Pool is part of Intermountain Health a nonprofit healthcare organization that focuses on person-centered care. Caregivers who join our Float Pool enjoy assignments at locations throughout the Denver area. Our hospitals in the Denver area include:
  • Good Samaritan Medical Center - Lafayette
  • Lutheran Medical Center - Wheat Ridge
  • Platte Valley Medical Center - Brighton
  • Saint Joseph Hospital - Denver
Scope:
  • Produce high quality ultrasound images and obtain appropriate measurements for each exam.
  • Recognize the sonographic appearance of normal and abnormal tissue structures and provide the best image quality for documentation.
  • Document all applicable patient and procedure data consistently and correctly.
  • Obtain and evaluate pertinent patient history and physical findings that may affect the sonographic examination.
  • Explain procedures adequately to patients to maximize patient comfort and cooperation.
  • Monitor during all phases of procedure with special care taken to insure patient emotional and physical well-being.
  • Communicate patient information in a professional and courteous manner to patients and to referring physician offices as required.
Qualifications:
  • ARRT Registry or ARDMS Registry. The ARDMS must include successful completion of one registry pertinent to the department beyond physics (options include OB, abdominal, neuro, breast, and, vascular).
  • Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT), highly preferred
  • American Heart Association - Basic life support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers, required.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of related sonography experience, highly preferred

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.

$28.15 - $43.42
