Solutions Engineer

Job duties Work with customers and prospects to protect and govern their sensitive data by demonstrating how the Skyflow Privacy Vault and Privacy API (Application Programming Interface) uniquely enable agility, while ensuring trust and compliance. Assess customers and prospects technical architectures to design holistic technical solutions that leverage Skyflows products and APIs to deliver their business as well as technical goals. Work closely with engineers, product managers, and technical leaders evaluating Skyflow to understand their business and technical requirements. Help prospects evaluate and implement Skyflows products and APIs through custom demos, guided trials, and proof of concepts. Design and develop proof of concept web applications leveraging Skyflows APIs and Products. Showcase Skyflow capabilities at conferences/trade-shows in the Lower 48 States. Respond effectively to Request for Proposals (RFPs) and Request for Information (RFIs) from current and prospective customers. Strategize and collaborate with account executives in a sales cycle and drive successful outcomes in a prospect or customer facing environment. Gather product feedback, new product ideas and market trends from the field and provide structured inputs to Skyflow's product management, marketing and engineering teams. Remote position - May work from PST or MDT time zones. 5-10% domestic travel. Education and Experience required Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or a related technical field. 8 years of experience as a Sales Engineer, Solutions Engineer, Technical Architect, Solution Consultant, Software Engineer, Technology Lead or similar role. Background 5 years of experience in web or mobile application design and development. 8 years of experience coding in one or more languages of the following languages: Java, JavaScript, Go, Ruby, Python or similar. 5 years of systems integration experience integrating APIs into web or mobile applications. 8 years of experience working in a sales cycle and driving outcomes in a customer-facing environment. 8 years of experience with business requirements gathering and analysis. 8 years of experience presenting and explaining complex technical concepts to customer stakeholders. 8 years of experience designing technical architectures to address a prospect or customer's requirements and create the associated design artifacts. 8 years of experience leading discussions with product managers, developers and other customer stakeholders. 8 years of experience leading pre-sales customer engagements. 7 years of experience architecting solutions on cloud based technologies and platforms (AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Salesforce, ServiceNow ,Microsoft Azure, or similar). 8 years of experience with API centric development technologies (OAS, GraphQL, REST, SOAP, web services, and microservices patterns and concepts). 8 years of experience with Data Architecture (Databases, NoSQL data stores, ETL, Integration). Location HQ: Palo Alto, CA. Remote position may work from PST or MDT time zones. 5-10% domestic travel.
