Solutions Engineer Mission:

Collaborate with sales and delivery teams to sell, grow and renew accounts. Help customers realize impact from our products and services.


Position Objectives:

1.Team up with sales to win more new opportunities and renewals:

  • Understand customer goals, pain, and technical requirements to build solutions where UsableNet can deliver recurring impact
  • Educate and influence customers/prospects using your experience and expertise
  • Collaborate with sales and delivery during the renewal process to support customer retention and growth

2.Collaborate with Delivery to achieve recurring impact with customers:

  • Work with the delivery team to ensure customers are realizing the intended impact and formulate a strategy to drive customer success
  • Assist clients in comprehending their obligations and overcoming difficulties during periods of struggle
  • Recognize deficiencies in customer engagement, individuals involved, and customer processes, then address and resolve these gaps
  • Consult with customers to create sustainable accessibility programs that utilize UsableNet products/services

3.Be an expert in our products and accessibility


Actions:

  • Maintain SME status by attending all available UsableNet trainings to understand products, services, and process. Also maintain CPACC certification through the acquisition of Continuing Accessibility Education Credits.
  • Understand how to best position Accessibility Services, based on what the client has purchased, to suggest best path forward on audit delivery and client remediation.
  • Suggest additional services or UsableNet Assistive as an alternative to make the client successful.
  • For the accounts owned, identify the areas where UsableNet has made / can / will make an impact and present this during business review meetings to highlight the impact of UsableNet products, solutions, approach, and people.
  • Lead/own and deliver aspects of UsableNet's Accessibility as a Service engagements, including Accessibility Blueprint, Live Trainings, etc.
  • Work with clients to help them understand their client responsibilities related to UsableNet Assistive.
  • Support clients who receive legal suits/demand letters, including working with UsableNet internal and external counsel.
  • All client support is to be in line with the client Tier.

Competencies:

  • BS Degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent practical experience
  • Experience in customer facing role at a product or services company
  • Experience working with sales and technical teams
  • Accessibility experience (preferred)
  • Expertise in accessibility concepts (includes being IAAP CPACC certified), best practices, and UsableNet Technology and Services. This expertise is provided for the benefit of the client, UsableNet's delivery team, and in support of and collaboration with the sales team to grow accounts
  • Comprehensive familiarity with all UsableNet solutions, including the ability to grasp and effectively convey their fundamental value, their effects on clients, and the necessary efforts and resources for successful implementation
  • Strong interpersonal, analytical, written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work as part of team and collaborate with others
