We are on the hunt for an experienced, dynamic, and detail-oriented Paralegal to join our renowned legal team. This is a unique opportunity to take on a key role within our thriving organization, where you will work closely with a team of accomplished attorneys to provide comprehensive paralegal support. The successful candidate will be an integral part of our legal department, specializing in commercial real estate transactions, public utility commission matters, and administrative law. This role requires a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive paralegal support in the areas of municipal utility district, public utility commission matters, and administrative law.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis on a wide range of legal issues related to the aforementioned areas.
  • Draft, review, and revise legal documents, contracts, and agreements.
  • Liaise with stakeholders, clients, and external counsel to ensure smooth transactional processes.
  • Assist with regulatory filings and maintain compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Manage and organize case files, documents, and exhibits.
  • Prepare for and assist with hearings, and other legal proceedings.
  • Keep abreast of legislative changes that may affect the organization and its operations.

Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Paralegal, preferably within municipal utility district (MUD), public utility commission matters, or administrative law.
  • Paralegal certification or equivalent educational background.
  • Exceptional research and report-writing skills.
  • Proficient in using legal software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong understanding of legal terminology, principles, and research techniques.
  • Excellent organizational skills with an ability to manage multiple tasks and work to tight deadlines.
  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A keen eye for detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with a client-focused approach.
