Solutions Architect Why This is an Exciting Role: Boeing Intelligence & Analytics (BI&A) is seeking an experienced and dynamic Solitons Architect with over 12 years of expertise in software engineering and leadership, specializing in cloud transformation and automation. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully modernizing technical/business operations, developing scalable, market-ready solutions, and leading large teams through complex technical initiatives. You will play a pivotal role in shaping BI&As technology landscape, designing cloud-based solutions, optimizing costs and ensuring seamless deployment of cutting-edge solutions. The Solutions Architect is responsible for overseeing all technical aspects of BI&A to include internal research and development, customer technical solutions for current contracts and future opportunities, and vendor relationships. Responsible for sharing the technical vision, strategy, and execution of BI&As mission-critical projects. Must have positive, can-do attitude. Must be willing to craft whitepapers, respond to request for information and request for proposals. In close coordination with the SLT, establish BI&A's technical vision and roadmap. Establish BI&A strategic technical direction, development, and future technical growth. Work in a consulting role with other leaders, managers, and employees as an advisor of technologies that lead to program success and future business to include leading capture efforts. Work with the BI&A Engineering Manager to build and mentor a high-performing technical team by attracting, retaining, and developing top talent. Provide leadership to support the Company's culture, mission, and values. Conducts research and case studies on leading edge technologies and makes determinations on the probability of implementation. Engage Government Technical Directors and industry technical leaders to understand current technical trends and direction. Ensure BI&A leadership is kept informed of customer and industry technical roadmaps. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of technology standards, industry trends, emerging technologies, and software development best practices. Define and communicate BI&A's values and standards for acquiring or developing technical practices and standards within the company. Share knowledge, mentor, and educate the organization, BI&A management, employees, customers, and stakeholders regarding the company's technology vision, opportunities, and challenges. Ensure BI&A's technical problems are resolved in a timely and cost-effective manner. Advise and participate in developing technical solutions and writing in support of BI&A business opportunities and proposals. Functions as BI&A's technology representative to Boeing divisions. Experience and Qualifications: To be eligible for this demanding position, the ideal candidate should demonstrate the following experience and qualifications: Required Education and Years of Experience: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 20 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD years' related work experience, Master years' related work experience, 24 years' related work experience, etc. Required Qualifications: Active TS with eligibility for SCI Clearance. Technical bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, physics, or related discipline. 10+ years' experience in a directly related industry with a minimum of 5 years in C-Suite position of authority. Proven history of leading and managing projects that drive innovative solutions. Broad experience and understanding of the software and engineering technology industry, acquired in a consulting role and/or managing technology. Proven track record of designing and optimizing multi-cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP) enterprise-level SaaS architectures. Executive-level interpersonal, verbal, written, and presentation skills; ability to mesh well with customer decision makers; team builder and an articulate advocate of BI&A's vision and value proposition. Willingness to travel based on customer and business demands. Ability to actively communicate, inspire, and motivate all levels of staff. Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills. Excellent leadership, presentation, and technical writing skills. Desired Qualifications: Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or related discipline.
