The Role: Solutions Architect
We are seeking an experienced Solutions Architect to drive innovation, shape technology strategies, and support business growth. In this role, you will stand up and lead our Service Now practice. You will leverage your expertise to develop cutting-edge solutions, contribute to business development efforts, and provide technical leadership across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Solution Development & Innovation
- Lead the development and implementation of strategic solutions to enhance FYI's innovation capabilities and competitive edge.
- Conduct market research, analyze business needs, and identify key technology partners.
- Develop differentiated solutions to drive FYI's innovation roadmap.
Marketing, Business Development & Proposals
- Act as a subject matter expert (SME) in technical solutioning for business development and proposal efforts.
- Contribute to proposal writing, author white papers, and create reusable solution content for marketing and bid submissions.
- Support customer engagements, capability briefings, and solution demonstrations.
Technical Leadership & Expertise
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Lead solution demos, presentations, and thought leadership initiatives (eg, blogs, technical papers, and community of practice events).
- Advise on engineering project execution, ensuring alignment with industry best practices.
Qualifications:
- Expertise in at least one major cloud platform: AWS, Azure, GCP, or Oracle.
- Strong knowledge of IT service management (ITIL, CMMI Service, ISO 20K, etc.).
- Experience with ServiceNow or other ITSM platforms (low-code app development experience preferred).
- Strong understanding of mobility management solutions.
- Up-to-date knowledge of market trends in cloud computing, cybersecurity, AI/ML, and advanced networking.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technology concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven experience in proposal solutioning and writing, including developing architectural graphics, modernization roadmaps, and operational concepts.
- A track record of creating winning proposals is highly desirable.
- U.S. Citizenship required (per federal government regulations).
- Must reside in the U.S. and perform all work within the U.S. (federal contract requirement).
Preferred Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience implementing or architecting ServiceNow solutions.
- ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect or Certified Master Architect.
- Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) - Human Resources.
- Experience writing ServiceNow proposals, conducting oral presentations, and delivering technical demonstrations.
- Extensive experience with ServiceNow platform components and third-party integrations.
- Experience with HCM platforms including WorkDay, Oracle (implementation and development).
