Job Description:
Our client is looking for a seasoned ServiceNow Solution Architect to guide the strategic planning, deployment, and enhancement of ServiceNow throughout the organization. This individual will collaborate with cross-functional teams to transform business requirements into scalable and effective ServiceNow solutions that boost operational efficiency, improve the experience for students and employees, and support the institution's broader objectives.
Your Responsibilities:
- Design and implement scalable solutions across key ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, HRSD, CSM, and others.
- Lead the design and oversight of the integration between ServiceNow and enterprise systems ( LMS, SIS, HRIS, and identity management tools).
- Partner with stakeholders in IT, HR, Student Services, and Compliance to gather requirements, analyze current platform usage, and align capabilities with institutional goals.
- Create and maintain comprehensive architectural documentation, including solution designs, integration diagrams, and technical roadmaps.
- Manage platform upgrades, plan release cycles, and oversee change management initiatives.
- Establish and uphold governance models, security protocols, and development standards for the ServiceNow environment.
- Offer mentorship and expert guidance to ServiceNow developers and administrators.
- Assess new ServiceNow capabilities and technologies for potential adoption and innovation opportunities.
Required Experience:
- Over 10 years of experience in enterprise IT, including 4+ years in a ServiceNow Architect or Senior Developer role.
- Deep understanding of ServiceNow platform architecture, including scripting with JavaScript and Glide, as well as custom application development.
- Strong proficiency in core ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, HRSD, CSM, and Flow Designer.
- Extensive experience designing and managing integrations using REST and SOAP APIs, as well as MID Servers.
- Knowledge of higher education environments and student service workflows is highly desirable.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and communicate complex technical information clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
