AWS/CES is seeking a Solutions Architect - SAP Production Planning & Quality Management for a battery cell manufacturing client in Memphis, TN
  • Location: Memphis, TN
  • Schedule: Direct Hire/ Full time
  • Compensation: $140k salary base DOE + Benefits
What You'll Do:
  • Develop and implement SAP PP/QM solutions that align with business goals and industry best practices.
  • Conduct gap analysis and business blueprinting to improve processes.
  • Define and map new business processes to enhance efficiency.
  • Analyze business processes in PP and QM to identify areas for improvement.
  • Lead the design, configuration, testing, and deployment of SAP PP/QM/MM/Supplier Quality modules.
  • Ensure seamless integration with SAP modules (MM, SD, FI/CO) and external systems like MES.
  • Oversee SAP-related projects, including system upgrades, rollouts, and enhancements for PP/QM modules.
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, risks, and deliverables to ensure success.
  • Work with stakeholders to understand production planning, quality management, and plant maintenance needs.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize manufacturing schedules, quality assurance, and asset management.
  • Design end-to-end processes for production orders, preventive maintenance, and quality inspections.
  • Provide training and hands-on support to end-users on SAP functionalities.
  • Offer Level 2 and 3 support for issue resolution and troubleshooting.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of processes, configurations, and developments.
  • Mentor and lead a team of PP/QM specialists.
  • Deep knowledge of SAP PP/QM modules, including material requirement planning, capacity planning, process order processing, and quality inspection.
  • Configure SAP S/4HANA systems for maximum efficiency.
  • Manage system testing, legacy data mapping, and system integration.
  • Expertise in SAP BTP, Fiori apps, IDocs, BAPIs, and analytics tools.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Stay updated on SAP advancements, industry trends, and best practices.
  • Explore emerging technologies like IoT, AI, and Machine Learning to enhance SAP capabilities.
  • Work closely with business users, IT teams, and vendors to drive project success.
Education & Experience Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering, or related fields.
  • 10+ years of hands-on experience in SAP PP and QM modules, including configuration and support.
  • Proven track record in at least two full-cycle SAP implementations and system upgrades.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality standards, and maintenance strategies.
  • Proficiency in SAP S/4HANA, Fiori apps, and related technologies.
  • Strong integration knowledge with SAP MM, SD, WM/EWM, FI/CO.
  • Experience with SAP BTP, analytics tools, and interface technologies (IDocs, BAPIs, etc.).
