Salesforce Solutions Architect

EMPLOYMENT TYPE:

  • Contract-to-Hire

COMPENSATION RANGE:

  • Hourly Rate: $60-$85 based on skills and experience
  • Target Salary Range upon conversion: $125K - $170K

WORK LOCATION:

  • Hybrid model (on-site presence required Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday)

Opportunity Overview: Salesforce Solutions Architect (Senior-Level)

We're seeking a strategic and highly experienced Salesforce Solutions Architect to join a forward-thinking technology team. This role is ideal for a candidate with deep expertise in Salesforce architecture, development, and administration-particularly those who can bridge technical capabilities with sales and operational strategy. You'll play a leading role in shaping the direction of the Salesforce environment while supporting complex business processes, advanced automation, and system integration initiatives.


Key Responsibilities:

Platform Strategy & Architecture

  • Develop and implement enterprise-grade Salesforce architecture in alignment with business needs and growth goals
  • Create solution roadmaps to guide platform scalability and maturity
  • Provide architectural oversight for custom development, system design, and multi-cloud implementations
  • Establish governance, development standards, and technical best practices

Advanced Development & Customization

  • Design scalable and robust solutions using Apex, LWC, SOQL/SOSL, and declarative tools
  • Lead configurations across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, CPQ, and other Salesforce products
  • Build and maintain secure data models and automation logic using Flow, Process Builder, and custom triggers
  • Drive continuous improvement in platform performance and user experience

Business Process Enablement

  • Collaborate with stakeholders across sales, operations, and delivery teams to translate business objectives into technical solutions
  • Architect and implement CPQ solutions to support complex quoting and pricing structures
  • Guide the deployment and optimization of operational tools such as SiteTracker
  • Develop data-driven reports and dashboards for enhanced decision-making

AI & Automation Integration

  • Lead the implementation of Salesforce AI features including Einstein Analytics and Discovery
  • Build intelligent workflows to automate routine processes and improve customer interactions
  • Support predictive analytics initiatives to improve forecasting and performance insights
  • Stay current with emerging AI and automation trends within the Salesforce ecosystem

Systems Integration & Data Architecture

  • Design integrations between Salesforce and external platforms, including BI and analytics tools
  • Architect real-time and batch data flows to ensure information consistency and availability
  • Support integration frameworks for third-party tools and internal systems
  • Oversee the seamless connection between Salesforce and project/field management platforms

Leadership & Mentorship

  • Serve as the Salesforce subject matter expert across teams and departments
  • Mentor technical teams and support adherence to Salesforce development best practices
  • Guide strategic conversations with leadership and technical stakeholders
  • Champion innovation and platform evolution based on emerging technologies and business needs

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
  • 8+ years of Salesforce experience, with 5+ years in a senior development or architecture role
  • Expertise across multiple Salesforce clouds including Sales, Service, and CPQ
  • Hands-on experience with SiteTracker or similar platforms
  • Strong understanding of sustainability, utilities, or related industries
  • Advanced proficiency in Apex, Lightning Web Components, data modeling, and integration patterns
  • Proven ability to design scalable, secure, and user-friendly solutions
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Preferred:

  • Multiple Salesforce certifications (e.g., Technical Architect, System Architect)
  • Familiarity with Databricks or similar data platforms
  • Knowledge of AI/ML concepts as applied in Salesforce
  • Experience with Field Service Lightning
  • Exposure to DevOps tools like CI/CD pipelines, version control, and release management
  • Experience with integration platforms (MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, etc.)
  • Background in analytics tools that complement Salesforce functionality
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and enterprise-level development
