Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Solutions Architect to join our team at one of our major Life Science clients. This role will focus on designing and implementing scalable cloud-based solutions using AWS to enhance our business processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the life sciences (e.g., healthcare, pharmaceuticals, etc.) industry, a deep understanding of cloud architecture, and a passion for optimizing business operations through technology.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Architecture Design: Design and implement robust, secure, and scalable AWS cloud architectures that meet the needs of various business processes within the life sciences domain.
  • Business Process Analysis: Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze and understand current business processes, identifying opportunities for improvement and automation through technology.
  • Solution Development: Lead the design and development of innovative solutions that leverage AWS services, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and best practices.
  • Technical Leadership: Act as a technical leader, providing guidance and mentorship to development teams while ensuring best practices in development and deployment are followed.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, quality assurance, and IT teams to ensure seamless implementation of solutions and alignment with business objectives.
  • Performance Optimization: Monitor and assess the performance of implemented solutions, making data-driven recommendations for optimizations and enhancements.
  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of architectural designs, solution specifications, and processes for future reference and audits.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of proven experience as a Solutions Architect, preferably within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
  • Expert knowledge of AWS / Google Cloud/ Azure services and architecture best practices.
  • Strong understanding of pharmaceutical and healthcare business processes, regulations, and compliance standards.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • AWS/ Google Cloud / Azure certification (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect) is highly desirable.

The base salary range for this role is $100,000 - $130,000
