Solutions Architect

Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned hands on Solution & Systems Architect to lead the efforts for defining the functional & technical architectural solutions for core customer/account reference data applications in the Consumer and Global Wealth Management technology group. Accountable for systems design, technical architecture, strategy and technical standards and governance. The individual should have the aptitude to understand the business process, work in a team environment with other architects, business analysts and developers.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the design and development of architectural solutions.

Collaborate with developers to ensure seamless integration and implementation of designs.

Gather and analyze business requirements to inform architectural decisions.

Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for development processes and community standards.

Utilize previous data development experience, particularly with Oracle, to drive project success.

Ensure robust understanding and application of web services (API) in all relevant projects.

Apply Java backend scripting expertise to enhance system functionality.

Leverage financial domain experience to address industry-specific challenges and opportunities.

Skills and Requirements

Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.

Proficient in Java backend development but not actually coding

Experience in defining architecture for backend system / application integration

Experience in SOA Design patters (service oriented architecture)

Experience with API driven architecture and microservices (application Programming Interface)

Strong knowledge in applying patterns while designing such as Object Oriented, Integration, and application design patters.

Experience in UML diagrams (Unified Modeling language)

Excellent communication skills with ability to clearly communicate business problem and solutions to management

Self motivated and able to take initiative and make things happen

Self managed and able to be accountable for deliverables Knowledge of Data Modeling.

Experience in Customer Master Data Management (MDM) is a big plus

Experience in Retail Banking, Wealth Management and/or financial systems are highly desirable. null
