Description
- As a Solutions Architect you will be part of a team helping transform our existing consumer technology platform to a modernized, cloud native platform.
- You will collaborate with our business partners, technology partners and other solution architects to help realize business strategy through a technical strategy.
- You will take ownership and lead the architecture vision and roadmaps for both the current platform and a modernized, cloud-native platform.
- You will lead evaluations of vendor's products that may be required to support new products and services.
- You will help execute on this vision and roadmap by developing solutions that progress towards the target architecture.
- The primary areas of focus will be in transforming customer experience for mobility (4G/LTE/5G) and broadband products and services.
- Defines Technical Solution and ensures alignment; Provide technical leadership for the evolving architectural capabilities of the entire solution.
- Works closely with the Enterprise Architects and System Engineers to ensure that individual program and product strategies align with business and technical objectives: Facilitates important design decisions for development teams; local authority.
- Specifies the components and their interactions that comprise the End to End Integrated Architecture including:
- Work with customers, stakeholders, and development teams to define high-level solution
- Determine the primary components and subsystems and analyze technical trade-offs; Identify interfaces and collaborations between them, define higher-level functional Nonfunctional Requirements NFRs
- Defines a shared technical and architectural vision focused on creating technical alignment for the full Solution rather than concerns for specific components
- Work with portfolio stakeholders, customers, Enterprise Architects, System Engineers and development teams to align the architectural direction
- Establish incremental implementation strategy and technical foundation for the architectural runway
- Abstraction and generalization to preserve architectural flexibility
- Ensure that common technology, design practices, and infrastructure are used when applicable
- Facilitate the reuse of code, components, and proven patterns; Influence common modeling, design, and coding practices.
- Solution for the Sales and Service capabilities.
- Advisor on technical knowledge and technologies.
Qualifications
- Preferred Masters of Science degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Science, Electrical Engineering, or Math; or equivalent experience.
- Typically requires 8-10 years experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to collaborate with and influence cross-functional teams
- Cloud and SaaS integration experience desired, Salesforce, Azure or AWS
- 4G/LTE/5G and/or broadband knowledge desired
- Familiarity with 3gpp and/or TMForum standards a plus
- Sparx Systems Enterprise Architect experience a plus
- Experience with Einstein AI, LLM, Gen AI is a plus.
- End to end solution Architecture design experience -
- Telecom experience (4G/LTE, 5G, Fiber etc).
- Team player/collaborator.
- Must be familiar with Salesforce C360, Sales, Service, Marketing and CRM functions.
- Expert level technical professional.

Technical Certification Bonus: Synectics is pleased to award its employees a bonus of up to $500 for an approved professional certification. In determining the bonus amount, Synectics will consider the cost of the test(s) for any certification relating to your current position, achieved during your employment with us. Only one Certification Bonus per calendar year may be awarded per employee. Only current, active employees will be eligible to receive this bonus. It will be awarded 90 days after the Synectics office has received documentation confirming the successful completion of the certification.
