Job : Solution Architect Specialist ServiceNow Location: Onsite in McLean, VA (HQ2)Duration: 9 Months Contract-to-Hire (CTH)Visa : GC or USC Interview Process: Microsoft Teams Video Mandatory; Onsite possible for 2nd round Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Solution Architect Specialist with extensiveServiceNow experience, particularly in Request Management,Service Catalog, and Knowledge Management (KM) modules. This role is ideal for a candidate who thrives in a technical leadership position, has deep platform knowledge, and excels at collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver streamlined, user-centric solutions. This position focuses on the architecture, administration, and development of theServiceNow Catalog, Knowledge Base, and Self-Service Portal components, with a strong emphasis on UI/UX,automation, and workflow design. Key Responsibilities: Perform day-to-day administration of the ServiceNow platform, including configuration of forms, tables, reports, and workflows. Develop and support catalog items, knowledge articles,request workflows, and self-service portal interfaces. Provide operational support: generate metrics, resolve incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement fixes. Lead integration efforts with other systems using REST APIs,web services, and custom scripts. Collaborate with stakeholders, analysts, and developers to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Manage technical documentation, governance, and standards for the ServiceNow platform. Support upgrade activities, perform instance migrations, and ensure system performance and scalability. Act as a technical SME for ITSM, catalog, KM, and portal development. Required Qualifications: 8+ years of IT and Web/Front-End Development experience. Strong experience with ServiceNow platform administration, especiallyCatalog, Knowledge, and Service Portal. Proficient in: JavaScript, XML, REST API,Shell scripting UX/UI design principles for portal and catalog development Solid understanding of ITSM practices and the ITIL framework. Experience managing stakeholder expectations and delivering business value through platform enhancements. Knowledge of architectural and infrastructure environments. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field. Preferred Qualifications: ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) or equivalent certifications. Hands-on experience with CSDM, CMDB, and enterprise-scale integrations. Background in project leadership and working with offshore/onshore teams. Nice to Have: Experience with ServiceNow Discovery, Performance Analytics, orVirtual Agent. Strong experience in technical writing and documentation. Prior involvement in ServiceNow upgrades and platform migrations.
