Job Description
We are looking for multiple experienced Solutions Architects to join a fast-growing team at our financial client in Phoenix. These candidates will need to be able to jump into the organization and quickly understand multiple financial domains (risk, payments, or any domains associated with banks/financial institutions) and lead discussions with multiple engineering teams to make suggestions on architecture best practices.
The goal of this team is to set the bar across its organization for technology. The responsibility of this team includes creating enterprise architectures, designs, standards, methodologies, and best practices. In this role, you'll need to lead discussions around requirements, both functional and non-functional, create POV diagrams, and ensure plans fit within the enterprise's standard architecture processes.
These candidates will be leveraging Golang and Java to achieve technical goals. In addition, it is a large goal of the team to move into a public cloud environment, as such experience with GCP or AWS is needed.
Of the seven openings we are seeking:
2 candidates with a background in company loyalty programs.
2 candidates with a background with Accounts Receivable technology.
3 Candidates with a background working with Marketing/SEO technologies.
The solution architects day will generally be comprised of:
25% of the day communicating with different product and engineering teams.
25% working with specific engineering teams on best approach for application architecture decisions.
50% working hands-on with documentation, planning, and design.
Responsibilities of this role:
Provides direction, guidance, and implementation of IT Platform architecture to support various Enterprise Architecture requirements and initiatives. While working hands-on in creating Enterprise Architecture Artifacts such as Models, Documents, and presentations.

Skills and Requirements
-10+ years in an enterprise/solution architect role, with a minimum 3+ years experience in software development
-Very comfortable working in a Java environment, preferably having prior experience writing Java code as this company's software is 70% Java based. This role will not be coding directly, but reviewing other's code and looking for bad code.
-Hands on experience creating architecture diagrams and documents.
-Strong understanding of Distributed Data Architecture (RDBMS, NoSQL, BigData)
-Strong database experience, both with relational databases and NoSQL, as well as an understanding with Database Access
-Thorough understanding on creating Enterprise APIs architectures, solutions, and strategies
-Working experience with APIs and an understanding of how to protect APIs
-Web application and mobile application architecture experience
-Working experience with Golang, Python, and/or Kotlin
-Experience working in any financial industry, bank, payment processing company, etc. with preferable experience working in a variety of domains (risk, payments, etc.)
-Any public cloud architecture experience and/or certifications (GCP, Amazon, Azure) null
